The new smartphones bear the same names as their antecedents, but then again they come with better-quality specs that go into creating them next-gen phones. As per Samsung the galaxy j-series offered by them is the largest selling smartphone series, and here are our initial impressions of the new handsets.

Looks

From the looks alone, the Galaxy J5 (2016) and the J7 (2016) look somewhat identical except for a perceptible difference in their sizes. The Galaxy J5 trials 5.2 inches - up from the 5-inch screen on the last-generation J5. The J7, instead, is to some extent larger than the J5 and lingers with the similar display size of 5.5-inches as preceding years. Both the phones have a Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 720 x1280 pixels that have a good color imitation. Also, the shades didn’t ever appear over-saturated in the course of the time we disbursed with it.

Design

Talking about their design, the J5 and J7 have an upright build as well as offer decent looks. The metal phone that runs beside the phones gives them an excellent touch, but then again the back panels are made of plastic plus feature a brushed metal finish.
